Product details

Yokogawa YTA Series temperature transmitters, such as YTA110, YTA310, YTA320, convert the sensor signals to a unified signal, 4 to 20mA signal or FOUNDATION™ fieldbus. This eliminates the drawbacks of wire resistance and signal noise that are often experienced with conventional temperature instruments, which must be connected by long extension lead wires or three-conductor cables to converters in an instrument panel room.

An additional feature is that both the sensor type and the measurement range can be selected.

Features of Yokogawa YTA Series Temperature Transmitter YTA110 YTA310 YTA320

Outstanding performance
Microprocessor-based sensing technology ensures high accuracy and stability.

High reliability
Dual-compartment housing realizes high resistance capability to harsh environments.

SIL Certification
Yokogawa YTA series temperature transmitters have been certified by TÜV NORD as being compliant with the requirements of the IEC61508 for SIL 2.

Variety of sensor inputs
The type of sensor input is user-selectable: thermocouples, RTDs, ohms, or DC milivolt.

Digital communication
The BRAIN and HART communication protocols are available.
The instrument configuration can be changed by the user with a BT200 terminal or HART communicator.
The Yokogawa YTA320 temperature transmitter also supports FOUNDATION fieldbus communication protocol.

Self-diagnostics function
Continuous self-diagnostics capability ensures long-term performance and lower cost of ownership.

LCD display with bargraph
The LCD display simultaneously displays a digital readout and a bargraph.

Dual universal inputs (Model YTA320)

The Yokogawa YTA320 can accept two thermocouple, RTD, ohm, or DC milivolt inputs. Differential or average temperature transmitter measurement can be selected. A sensor backup function automatically switches-over from the primary sensor to a backup if the sensor fails.
